Hi, I am Bettye
Strategist, Visionary, and Storyteller
As the President/CEO of B. Walker Consultants, LLC, Bettye has more than three decades of professional experience working in an advisory, leadership, and administrative capacity. Her professional background includes legal, office administration, process improvement, corporate governance, employee-employer mediation, non-profit management and publishing.
She holds a bachelors’ in Graphic Design from Norfolk State University, a master’s in Human Services Counseling from Regent University, studied Communications Design at Pratt Institute, and has served as a licensed ordained minister since 1996.
With more than three decades of experience in publishing and design, in addition to more than 20 years experience as a counselor-coach, Bettye is uniquely qualified to coach and advise Christian leaders, authors, and writers.
She has also worked for notable publishers like McGraw-Hill Book Publishers, Black Enterprise Magazine, and New York Times/Quadrangle Books; created publications for Radio Free Asia and Ashoka IFTP; provided editorial support to Hope of Vision Publishing; and served as Editor-in-Chief for several church publications.
